PSAL Boys City Playoffs Seedings & Match-ups

Three-time defending city champion Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Thomas Jefferson, Boys & Girls and Wings Academy are the top five seeds in the PSAL Class AA boys’ basketball playoffs, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Forest Hills, Cardozo, Wadleigh, Transit Tech and McKee/Staten Island Tech fill out the rest of the top. The first eight will get a bye into the second round.

Opening-round play begins Wednesday, Feb. 25.

The PSAL released its Class A playoff seedings as well Monday afternoon. The top seven receive a bye. Four of the top five hail from Brooklyn, including the top two –Bedford Academy and Brooklyn Collegiate – from Brooklyn A East. Opening-round play begins Wednesday, Feb. 26.
