Real Scout.net @ Adidas NY Phenom

(Pictured: Maurice Harkless (2011) Phenom @ Fordham University)

RealScout.net attended Saturday's Adidas NY Phenom Camp at Fordham Unversity Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx. RealScout.net won't be able to make it to Phenom Sunday.
But,we have seen enough to know why this was the best Phenom Camp ever. Shamus Goss and his Adidas NY Phenom staff, started with Camp introduction and stretches.

Skills Exercises(Stations)consisted of Ball Handling, Post drills, Passing and moving, shooting, and finally speed and agility drills.

RealScout.net had a extremelly hard time trying to evaluate so many talented players in one gym.

Here are some bios of players who were worthy of being mentioned
.

6'7 Maurice Harkless (2011)is continuing to develop into a big time small forward. A High Major player, Harkless improved ball-handling was on display as he scored 17pts, grabbed 8rebs and caught some series dunks.

6'4 Sonny Kadisha (2010) The hardworking small forward from the Congo (Africa) had the best day of all campers. Scoring 21pts and 10rebs in 26mins of play.

6'7 Jordan Washington (8th Grade 2013) showed why he's the most scariest player in the camp. Already with a Rasheed Wallace type body. Washington did whatever he wanted to do on the court, and controlled the game on both ends.

5'5 Antione Tutt had a solid game (6pts, 7assts, 3steals) and continues to improve on his outside jumper, which makes him a player to watch this summer

Shavar Newkirk (7th 2014), Jerron Love (7th 2014), and Cheyenne Nettleton (6th 2015) were the three bright stars of tomorrow. Newkirk is one of the better shooters in the class, and his jumpshot was falling often and early today.

Love is a youtube.com favorite and showed his willingness to pass to the open man and score when needed. Nettleton only in the 6th grade rebounded and scored the ball real well.

Playing along side love and being thrusted into a Forward position, wasn't all bad for the Queens Native. He more than held his own against the best 6th and 7th graders in NY Phenom Camp.
