Its Monday 8/24 "Happy B-Day Charlie Villanueva", I'd like to recap my weekend. Friday, I started out at the Sheraton Hotel in Manhattan, hanging with a couple of players from the Elite 24. I got there at about 4pm, and the bus was about to depart at maybe 4:30.
I spoke to a couple of basketball personalities in the lobby, and got into the car heading to Rucker Park. On, the way to Rucker going up amsterdam ave in manhattan, it was pouring. So, I got a call from my peoples who said that the event was being moved to Fordham.
I was driving with somebody, who I will not name who almost killed us, blowing through a light. We figured to go by the Rucker and then head to Fordham. As, it stopped raining, we were crossing 125th and ran into Angel Nunez, Kevin Parrom, and Lamont Mo-Mo Jones. They were about to hop in a cab and hit up Fordham.
So we left those guys because we didn't have any room in the car and made it safely to 155th and 8th ave. After, getting my media pass and chatting with Stacey Davis (NYCHoops.net), seeing Tyreke Evans, and Rajon Rondo. I got the chance to see my son son Brandon Jennings.
We spoke for a while, but I'm not into saying about what. But, that's lil b, and he's cool as hell. Anyway, the game got rained out. Bobbitto Garcia gets on the mic and tells everybody to head over the bridge to the choz.
After taking a short cut over the bridge to the bronx and cutting the whole line. I got in the Gauchos, watched a good game. Besides, Lamb, Barton, Harris, Kyrie, and Selby. I was very impressed with Harrisson Barnes, Roscoe Smith, and Perry Ellis.
Saturday was suppose to be the Tournament of Champions at Goat Park. That got rained out. But, I got back to Queens and watched some Nike Swoosh Games. Sunday's plans were Nike Tournament of Champions at the Gauchos Gym. Great event, Sidicki (36pts)and Fuquan (35pts) tore it up.
I got another long Monday ahead of me. Ill talk to you guys tomorrow. Watch that Real Scout Vol.4 mix, its pretty good
